Two weekends ago I ventured all the way over to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden (a full mile away from my apt) to experience the Sakura Matsuri Festival, otherwise known as the Cherry Blossom Festival.

It was a vertirable smorgasborg of random cosplay, ninja demos, manga workshops and overpriced faux Japanese food. Also cherry blossoms. So. Many. Cherry blossoms.
