Canada: #TBT Montréal

As previously noted, Jen and I weren't particularly impressed with the Montréal aesthetic. Sure, there were some lovely little blocks, and some occasional cool architecture here and there, but mostly it looked like any average-sized North American city where nondescript office buildings reign supreme.

In addition to the ridiculous food and beautiful Old Montréal area, where Montréal does set itself apart is in its creative energy. The street where our Airbnb was, Saint Laurent, was the main drag, and it was full of vibrant, sometimes crazy, always massive murals. Jen and I couldn't stop pausing every few blocks to wander down a smaller street and take photos around every colorful corner. Admittedly, not all of them are to my liking, but all are impressive for sure.

Take a Throwback Thursday look around Montréal!
