Banff in One Day

It’s been almost a year since my last proper vacation and I haven’t posted about it once! Serious shame on me. Now that I’m less than a month away from what promises to be an epic trip to South Africa, I couldn’t think of a better time to reminisce about my trip to Banff, Canada, last year!

The views were awe-inspiring and wildlife was constantly all around us. It was a true breath of fresh air in every possible sense and I hope to go back one day.

Our first full day in Banff was spent exploring the nearby trails and lakes. When you start before sunrise and sunset is at 10 p, you can get a lot done!

Here’s where we explored:

Lake Minnewanka, Two Jack Lake, Johnston Lake, & Cascade Ponds

Town of Banff & The Bow Falls Trail

Surprise Corner & The Banff Hoodoo Trail

If you’re asking yourself, “Is the water really that color?” The answer is YES -- and even more vibrant in person. The pictures of the mountains, the lakes and the atmosphere really don’t do them justice.
