NYC: #FBF Cherry Blossoms

Though the Brooklyn Botanical Garden has everyone convinced that they need to pay money to see cherry blossoms, I know better. While I can say that the Sakura Festival is a ton of fun, if you just want to see some beautiful blossoms, one of the best spots to see them is Greenwood Cemetery. Not only can you wander through this expansive 400+ acres of greenery without seeing another soul (maybe just a ghost or two), but you’ll be able to see tons of historic plots and gorgeous flora. The cemetery is a great place to visit any time of year, but spring really makes the space come to life…pun intended. Best of all — it’s completely free to visit year round. Check out my snaps from a couple months ago when the cherry blossoms and magnolias were in full bloom.
