NYC: Micro Brews, Pizza, & Celebrations

NYC

In addition to touring Industry City and running away from the rain, we managed to do a few other things two weekends ago, like...

The Fabulous 5th Avenue Street Fair

Once a year, my Park Slope neighbors and businesses hold a 20-block street fair all along 5th Avenue in Brooklyn. Stores open their doors with sales and bars become beer gardens. Plus, there are bouncy castles and bands all along the route.

Pizza Loves Emily

If you know anyone in the Baltimore or NYC area, you may have heard that my cousin graduated from Fordham law school this week (we are all very proud!!!). For her graduation celebration, we headed over to one of her favorite spots -- Pizza Loves Emily in the West Village. Serious NOMS.

Other Half Brewing

My brother just couldn't visit my Brooklyn neighborhood and NOT go to New York's most popular brewery. We were in luck - it was a can release day so we got to pick up some delicious brews to go! These came in handy when we all went back to my place and played Cards Against Humanity.

The Hudson River Greenway

Before our pizza extravaganza, we had time to kill, so we took a stroll to the Hudson River Greenway and had a photo shoot.

We ended the trip with a run through Prospect Park.

All in all - a fun-filled (and somewhat exhausting!) weekend.

Where are all the extra hoomans that lived here last weekend?!

-Jen
