Gift Guide: It's ALMOST Spring!

I don't know how it is where you live, but in NYC, it's been feeling like spring all week. With temperatures in the mid 60s, and sunsets getting later and later, I'm about ready to don some floral and ditch the tights.

Here are some great new things to get you into spring mode, whether you're traveling somewhere warmer or the temps are creeping up where you call home.

1. Somerset Backpack, Madewell $78.00

Besides linen, nothing quite says spring like canvas. I love this fresh, durable backpack for commuting or traveling to the beach.

2. Warranted Wanderlust Floral Knit Dress in Navy, Modcloth $59.00

When packing for a trip, I look for clothes that won't wrinkle but still look chic. This floral dress totally fits the bill.

3. Paper Source Adventurous Artistry Makeup Bag, Modcloth $15.00

My makeup bags are always getting gunky. Just like you replace your brushes, you should also replace your storage. I love this illustrated floral bag for spring!

4. Velvet Lightweight Kimono, Sole Society $69.95

Transitional seasons mean transitional clothing. It's all about the layers. I'm still iffy on the idea of kimonos as fashion, so let's call this a lightweight cardigan. It's great for chilly planes and trains.

5. Around the World in 80 Cocktails, Modcloth $14.99

Still think it's too cold out to dress like spring? Pretend it's warmer outside with a delicious tropical cocktail from this book!

6. Harlow Two Piece Sandal, Sole Society $27.98

I know it might be a little premature, but these are on sale and oh-so-cute. Plus, I've been seeing many ladies walking around in sandals already. Besides looking comfy, they seem like something that can dress an outfit up or down easily.

Happy (almost) spring!
