NYC: Dia:Beacon

NYC

This past weekend I finally had a good excuse to go up the Hudson and see a museum that's been on my to-do list for years -- the Dia:Beacon. With artists like Serra, Flavin, Smithson, and LeWitt, there was a 0% chance of me not falling in love. Everything from the space, to the grounds (which also had installations) to the cute AF cafe were amazing. If you have a penchant for modern sculpture or even just cool spaces, you should really treat yourself to the hour-long trip out of NYC along the Hudson and check out Dia:Beacon. While you're there, you can also walk through the tiny village of Beacon and take in a "Doctor Who"-themed cafe, farm-to-table restaurants and of course, local brews.

I wasn't just there for the sites, of course. I was there for a fabulous '20s-themed wedding that I'll tell you all about in a later post!
