Manhattan may have restaurant week, but the soon-to-be third largest city in the States (even though it's technically a borough) has its very own week of prix fix menus called Dine in Brooklyn. Compared to Manhattan's prix fix of $29 lunches and $42 dinners, Brooklyn is practically a steal at nearly half the cost per meal ($15 lunch, $28 dinner).
Although I pride myself in having explored much of what my neighborhood has to offer, in reality I've barely scratched the surface. I might as well take advantage of amazing prices to explore some good eats all around Brooklyn. Here's what I plan to check out!
I've never had Senegalese food before, so this seems like a good enough time to try it! I'm all about fried plantains and baked fish, not to mention beignets, so I'm pretty excited to check this place out!
Seems like I've got a lot of eating ahead of me over the next week or so. Luckily, it won't be costing that much!
