That night we drowned our sad skiing sorrows in some delicious craft beers and dinner at Last Chance Cheese. Sunday we opted to ditch whatever snow was left on "the slopes" and go hiking. We found this awesome little trail with a suspension bridge, vernal pools, and panoramic views of the Hudson River. After the hike, we wandered through a mostly closed (sigh, Easter) Kingston, New York's first capitol. The picturesque town featured small shops, revolutionary war era cemeteries and lots of buildings of historical note. Also: crazy awesome brunch food.
Here's a few highlights from the beautiful spring weekend upstate.
