We don't normally post weddings here, but we had to make an exception for the one I went to this past weekend. One of my good friends from MICA (Mimi from the awesome blog Ride & Ramble!) got married in one of the most fun and beautiful weddings I've ever been to. The wedding took place over a long weekend at a camp in the Adirondacks which meant that all of the guests slept in bunks, ate at the mess hall, and got to act like we were 12. It was the best.
There was skeet shooting (I got one!), hiking, volleyball, soccer, softball, handball, fishing, swimming in the lake and of course, a big production number at the amphitheater. Each night ended with a big bonfire where we toasted marshmallows, drank a few beers, and tried our best to reenact the Midnight Society. The only thing better than the family style BBQ and farm-to-table meals were the 100+ handmade pies for dessert (each car got to take a few home the next day!)
A huge thanks to Mimi & Nate for setting the bar super high for all future weddings and for including me in their amazing weekend!
